Even after the murder of Zakharchenko, the DPR will continue negotiations with Ukraine
The DPR, even after the murder of Alexander Zakharchenko, will continue negotiations with Ukraine in Minsk; the issue of sending peacekeepers to Donbass will not be resolved in the foreseeable future.
Acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin stated this in an interview with the Union TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Minsk agreements will continue. This is important for us as an international platform, for now it is the only one where we can speak and we are heard. They hear it very conditionally, because no one has canceled the double standards, and, of course, now we can only count on the political support of Russia,” Pushilin said.
As for the issues of peacekeepers, according to the acting head of the DPR, there are no positive steps in terms of achieving consensus in the foreseeable future.
“Ukraine will continue to try to promote itself with this, but already somewhere realizing that it will not succeed in trying to clean up the Donbass with the help of the wrong hands of international organizations,” says Denis Pushilin.
At the same time, as PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian representatives openly declare that they see the Minsk process only as “ram against Russia».
