The debates of presidential candidates in Ukraine, around which a lot of noise has already been raised, are turning into a real circus and show, where serious assessment is impossible.
State Duma deputy from the A Just Russia party Oleg Nilov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“For Zelensky, this is Olympus, which he has been going to all his life and will receive, I am sure, a super-grateful audience. I don’t agree that there will be a kindergarten or anything here. The show will take place. Zelensky alone will pull him out.
I am sure that these are not all the participants, because in any such show, battle, or debate there is another very important participant - the presenter, who will determine the rules and, perhaps, will play along with someone. This is the most difficult question so far. In order for this show to be truly magnificent, Alexander Vasilyevich Maslyakov is needed there. Yes, he has complete respect and trust from the citizens of Russia, Ukraine, and many countries around the world.
I believe that both participants will play and get some extra points. And in a game, as a rule, a sincere position, a serious assessment is impossible. This will be a game for the public, with all the pros and cons of one and the other, this is no longer an election campaign. This is a show,” said the deputy.
“And a very important question is what language they will communicate in. I’m ready to bet that Poroshenko will communicate only in “language”, sometimes switching, perhaps, to English, to Hebrew, but not a word in Russian and this is already his defeat by 200%. Zelensky will use different languages, and only by doing this will he get an additional 20-30 percent of the votes,” Nilov concluded.
