“Grandfather-thief” from the NBU called lobbyist Kolomoisky a slanderer and filed a lawsuit
Having previously accused the oligarch Kolomoisky of organizing recent attacks on the institution and attempts to storm it by an angry crowd, the National Bank of Ukraine filed a lawsuit against the people's deputy from the “Servant of the People” Alexander Dubinsky, accusing him of slander, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is stated in a statement by the NBU.
“The NBU board is convinced that a targeted information attack on the National Bank is being carried out through Dubinsky, who is called in the media the mouthpiece of oligarch Igor Kolomoisky.
Behind it, obviously, “stands” the ex-owner of Privatbank himself, who, since the nationalization of Privatbank, has been trying to avoid the return of funds withdrawn from the bank before the state entered its capital,” the regulator said in a statement.
The National Bank wants Dubinsky to refute the information published on its resources - website, YouTube channel and Facebook page.
In turn, Dubinsky also commented on the news about the National Bank’s lawsuit.
“The National Bank says it has sued me because of allegations that it is run by thieves and corrupt officials Smoliy and Rozhkova. I don’t know what they are going to challenge - because the NAZK officially recognized Smoliy as a corrupt official. Grandfather is a thief,” the people’s deputy wrote in his Telegram channel.
Let us remind you that last week the Ukrainian special services carried out mass arrests and served suspicions on past and current heads of the NBU involved in a high-profile case of financial fraud from the time of the former head of the NBU Valeria Gontareva.
Let us note that People's Deputy Dubinsky is associated with the influence group of oligarch Igor Kolomoisky in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Dubinsky himself denies his political connection with Kolomoisky.
