Ukraine's foreign trade deficit is growing – statistics
The negative balance of foreign trade in goods (excluding Crimea, Sevastopol and the uncontrolled part of Donbass) for January-August 2016 amounted to 1 billion 760,8 million dollars against a positive balance of 710,2 million dollars for the same period in 2015.

At the same time, in January-September 2016, exports of goods amounted to 25 billion 874,5 million dollars, imports - 27 billion 635,3 million dollars. Compared to January-September 2015, there was a decrease in exports by 8,7% (by 2 billion 477,4 million dollars), imports decreased only slightly (by 6,4 million dollars).
Foreign trade operations were carried out with partners from 219 countries.
Let us remind you that Ukraine’s foreign trade deficit in goods in January-August amounted to $1,47 billion.
