Tasting at the Crimean plant ended with bruises and lacerations
In Sudak, at the Novy Svet champagne wine factory, an emergency occurred during a tasting - the driver of a forklift lost control in the tasting room and crashed into stands with champagne.
As a result, bottles began to fall to the floor and break, and flying fragments injured tourists present at the tasting.
The manager of one of the Crimean hotels, Natalya Kirichenko, writes about this in her blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The tasting at the New World plant for excursionists ended with bruises and lacerations of the limbs. During an excursion to the basement, a mini loader, driving near people, caught stands with bottles of champagne. Bottles fell and broke into pieces of glass, which scattered in a confined space, cutting people’s arms and legs. They instinctively covered their faces and heads with their hands.
There were no serious injuries, thank God. And the factory generously added a glass to the tasting set. But there could be children in the group. It’s not so safe to taste sparkling drinks at the Novy Svet sparkling wine factory,” Kirichenko wrote.
