Late in the evening of October 1, in Samaria, on the highway between the Jewish settlements of Alon More and Itamar, a car carrying a religious Jewish family was attacked. In front of four children, the youngest of whom was only 4 months old and the eldest 9 years old, the terrorists shot their parents who were in the front seats. The children survived but were slightly injured.

The terrorists attacked the car from an ambush, but it was not possible to detain them in hot pursuit. The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the military wing of the Fatah movement, has already claimed responsibility for the attack.

Today, about 2 thousand people came to say goodbye to the deceased young spouses.

In addition to traditional terrorist groups, new-fangled phenomena are also beginning to penetrate into Israel. Yesterday, Israeli intelligence services published information about the liquidation of an Islamic State cell, and seven of its members, who were detained for a month, were charged in court. The accused, mostly young men 20-23 years old, came into contact with Israeli citizens fighting in Syria in the ranks of ISIS, and prepared sabotage against the Israeli police and IDF units.

So far, Israel is more concerned about the actions of its long-time opponents - the Assad regime in Syria, the Iranians and the Shiite Hezbollah in Lebanon. It is even reported that he supports anti-government militants in the border areas. And Russian-language Israeli media report on Russian air strikes against Syrian “rebels.”

But still, Russia’s military intervention did not cause sharp rejection in Israel. On the eve of Putin’s speech at the UN, an Israeli military delegation led by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Moscow, and yesterday it became known about an imminent return visit of a Russian military delegation and a meeting at the level of first deputy chiefs of the General Staff. Apparently, both sides want to more closely coordinate the actions of their military in the region.
