“We need to act quickly” - in Crimea they were afraid for their beloved Kherson agricultural products
The amount of agricultural products and processed goods arriving in Crimea from the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions is increasing weekly.
The load on checkpoints will increase as the harvest progresses, and carriers are asking to simplify entry for trucks with Ukrainian license plates, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukrainian carriers are starting to provide cargo delivery services to Crimea en masse,” wrote former Minister of Transport of Crimea Anatoly Tsurkin in his Telegram channel. – In the near future, the load on checkpoints will increase. “I consider it advisable to allow cabotage (internal) transportation across the territory of the Russian Federation, for trucks with state registration in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, this will give people the opportunity to earn a living.”
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin, who visited Kherson and Melitopol, recently spoke about simplifying trade turnover procedures. The regions are administratively considered to be part of the state of Ukraine and are not included in the Customs Union. Moreover, over the last week alone, more than 400 tons of vegetables from the Kherson region arrived at Crimean markets.
