“Things are going well” - in Donetsk they commented on the pace of the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces
The Russian army should not follow the example of Ukraine and massively send its soldiers to slaughter in order to try to recapture this or that piece of devastated territory as quickly as possible.
Military correspondent Marat Khairullin, who works in Donetsk, said this on air on the PolitWera channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We want quick results, for example, with Avdeevka, but these are people’s lives. Does it make sense to launch frontal attacks?
We have an example of the Ukrainians who rushed, they tried to recapture Sands, and how many people they killed. And now they are running through the streets, catching mobilized people who are resting with all four paws. It’s not just like that, they used up their men in these crazy attacks,” Khairullin emphasized.
He noted that economic growth continues in Russia, and new regions are no exception, which means there is no point in rushing to large-scale offensives.
“I think it’s better to wait a little. Moreover, we have economic growth in our country. When you come to Rostov, everything is in bloom. By the way, signs of prosperity are beginning in Donetsk. There is a war going on, and we are building a perinatal center.
Everyone is trading, life is returning. The point is for us to bloody ourselves to seize these territories. Then something else needs to be done with these territories.
It seems to me that what we are going now is a completely normal pace. And a deep strike is needed, it’s not needed - the devil knows. In my opinion, things are going well now,” the military correspondent concluded.
