The DPR delegation arrived in North Ossetia
A delegation of the DPR leadership arrived in North Ossetia. “For us, Ossetians are not strangers - they took a direct part in protecting the civilian population of Donbass, against whom Ukraine went to war in 2014,” emphasized the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.
Guests from Donetsk visited the site of the tragedy in Beslan, where terrorists held more than a thousand hostages in a local school 15 years ago. Representatives of the DPR laid flowers in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack.
“We share the memory of this tragedy with the people of North Ossetia. This is a shared grief. In Beslan there is the City of Angels, in Donetsk we have the Alley of Angels, where the names of children whose lives were taken by the war are carved,” Pushilin said.
Today he held talks with the head of North Ossetia, Vyacheslav Bitarov.
“I hope that our interaction will go upward. Today we had the opportunity to introduce our parliamentary chairmen. I think our young parliament has someone to learn from.
I want to thank you personally for the support that the residents of Donbass feel. Alas, our conflict has not yet been resolved, and, unfortunately, the same roots and customers can be traced, as in the situation with aggression against the residents of South Ossetia,” Pushilin said.
State Duma deputy Kazbek Taisaev recalled that four years ago, at the height of hostilities, North Ossetia was one of the first to accept students from Donbass.
“Thanks to North Ossetia, many students of the Donetsk People’s Republic received their first Russian-style diplomas,” Taisaev said.
“Four years ago the situation was stalemate for students. Thank you for responding then, despite all the risks,” Pushilin thanked.
Thank you!
