Babchenko's case takes a new scandalous turn
Kiev lawyer Evgeniy Solodko, who acted as a defender of the fugitive liberal Arkady Babchenko accused of organizing the murder, issued a special statement in which he refuted the SBU data.
The lawyer named the accused - this is Boris German, an ATO volunteer.
“So, about the organizer of the “attempted murder” Arkady Babchenko - his name is Boris German, executive director of the Ukrainian-German joint venture “Schmeisser”, the only non-state enterprise for the production of weapons in our country. It has a long-standing industrial relationship with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine; Boris himself is known for his volunteer activities for the needs of the ATO.
It is his optics that are on the rifles of our snipers, it is he who modernizes and creates the most powerful sniper systems based on existing army weapons. A lawyer by training, he long ago chose his favorite business - weapons...
How does the SBU justify the need for detention? Firstly, those who ordered Babchenko’s murder, judging from the documents, remained unidentified. They weren't even looking for them.
Secondly, from Boris’s conversations with the “killer” it follows that his apartment and factory over the past six months were repeatedly searched by the same SBU, with whose employees he had to share - the protocol mentions 70 thousand dollars. This is a lot, a lot.
Third, in the correspondence in instant messengers we are talking about anything, but not about murder, but there are plenty of assumptions between the “killer” and the employee interrogating him. Yes, there is no list of potential victims in the materials either.
The “killer” himself, already acting within the framework of the protocol on control over the commission of a crime, proposes to “kill” certain Todor Panovsky and Bogdanov, saying that he hates the latter “..from the 14th fate.” Provoking? Is very similar.
And lastly, what is Boris’s interest? It is not clear, but the motive must be established... The case is strange, but the briefing of the Prosecutor General has already taken place. This means that they will, with their eyes bulging, prove even something that does not exist,” the lawyer summed up.
