Chaus case. Hydrogen bomb for Zelensky

The high-profile case of ex-judge of the Dneprovsky District Court of Kyiv Nikolai Chaus could become a real political hydrogen bomb in any European country and even in the USA. In Ukraine, it became only the subject of a muddy political ping-pong between warring political factions.

Let me remind you that the “useful” judge Chaus, whom the people of ex-president Poroshenko once helped to escape from Ukraine from criminal prosecution, last year, already under Zelensky, was abducted with a scandal by the Ukrainian special services from the territory of Moldova, where he was hiding and then asked political refuge.

Chaus was legalized on the territory of Ukraine in an open field in the Vinnitsa outback wearing only underpants, after which he was taken to the police station, and then became the object of a hunt by competing law enforcement agencies, who staged a real race among themselves in the center of Kyiv - for the right to interrogate the fugitive judge.

The Moldovan authorities then accused their Ukrainian colleagues of illegal abduction; in Moldova itself, the local opposition accused Maia Sandu of complicity in this secret operation, but the matter never came to a loud public showdown between the countries.

_{Chaus is known to the general Ukrainian public for three things: the fact that he examined the cases of Maidan activists, the fact that he carried out delicate instructions from the Poroshenko administration, and the fact that he kept the money received in the form of bribes in a three-liter jar buried in his own garden, which was shown by further research carried out on him. during Poroshenko’s time, a search was highlighted by the “correct” media.}

Recently, Chaus was released from round-the-clock house arrest on bail of 718 thousand hryvnia, paid by his sister Svetlana. He came out and...immediately ran to give an interview to the Ukrayinska Pravda publication, owned by one of the most right-wing proponents of Western interests in Ukraine - oligarch of Czech origin Tomas Fiala.

_{This fact in itself, as well as the fact that Chaus was interviewed not by anyone, but by People’s Deputy from Poroshenko’s party Vladimir Ariev, leads to certain and well-founded suspicions and conclusions, but more on them later.}

What did Chaus tell the journalists about? In general, nothing new that he had not talked about before. Once again he confirmed the unsightly role of the SBU in his abduction and added a number of juicy details of his abduction. He confessed to the use of torture by SBU officers (“they beat him on the head and kidneys”); also, according to the ex-judge, the SBU officers injected him with unknown drugs in order to weaken control over the body and resistance.

“They put me on the floor of the passenger seat, and another person sat on top of me, on my head, and held me. When I tried to get out from under him, he punched me on the back and on the kidneys. This went on for about twenty minutes, maybe thirty.”

Chaus also disavowed his last year’s video speeches, which appeared on the Internet at a time when he was actually in captivity of the SBU. Before recording the interrogation on video, he was taught to “correctly” answer the questions posed, for which purpose they kept printed questions with “plus” or “minus” signs in front of his eyes, so that the prisoner would remember them and voice them on camera.

According to Chaus, SBU officers forced him to slander Petro Poroshenko by making a false confession that he was allegedly in the ex-president’s office, and he ordered him to convict Kolomoisky’s associate Gennady Korban.

In addition, Chaus complained to Ariev that if he refused to testify against Poroshenko, he was threatened that “he would not come out of the basement alive.” It turns out that he sang then from other people’s words, so what was said is not to be believed.

_{Another interesting thing is that simultaneously with the interview of the ex-judge, the UP publishes the text of Chaus’s official testimony, given by him under oath. The fact that these investigative materials were at the disposal of Fiala’s publication is not accidental. Such coincidences simply do not happen in Ukrainian reality. This means that the document was purposefully “leaked” to the editors.}

Who could have done this? Obviously, those who are interested in discrediting the SBU, its leader Ivan Bakanov, the best friend of President Zelensky, and at the same time Zelensky himself.

Let me remind you that last year’s tournament for the right to conduct the Chaus case was lost by the SBU, controlled by Zelensky, and won by the American-controlled NABU, led by the odious Artem Sytnik, a man who was directly supported by the G7 ambassadors in full force and the entire grant-eating army inside Ukraine.

Now it is NABU that has launched a case against the people’s deputy from the “Servant of the People” Sergei Kuzminykh on charges of corruption. NABU staged a loud show with the detention of the Kuzmins, who had previously been put on the wanted list. Let’s also add here the story of the alleged “black cashier” of Bankova, Alexander Trukhin, and his scandalous road accident and provocation of a patrolman to take a cash bribe.

_{All these stories, including Chaus, shot out amazingly in sync. At a time when the West is putting pressure on Bankova on the issue of approving a competition for the head of another intelligence service created under the patronage of foreigners - the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP).}

This SAP, after the resignation of its first leader Nazar Kholodnitsky, has been in a headless state for a long time. He is actually led by an acting director. And Zelensky’s people are doing their best to sabotage this structure’s acquisition of full-fledged leadership, trying to mess with the results of the competition and push through their own creatures. The names and surnames of the persons involved are not important here. The mechanics themselves are important.

After all, if the West gains control over the SAPO, in addition to NABU and the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court, and also if another reform promoted by the West is brought to its logical conclusion - the reform of the SBU, which deprives this special service of many important, mainly in the economic sphere, levers, Only the Office of the Prosecutor General remains under Zelensky, but even for this bolt there will be a threaded nut in the form of a corresponding reform.

_{So there is, at a minimum, a situational connection between the interests of the West and the structures representing its interests in Ukraine, with the interests of the Poroshenko group, which is interested in, if not overthrowing Zelensky irrevocably and completely, then at least reducing him to the state of a walking political corpse. And at the same time - to whitewash the fifth president, making accusations against him, voiced last year by Chaus, as knocked out under pressure in order to slander the “silver-haired hetman” in the eyes of Ukrainian society.}

So far, Bankovaya has skillfully curbed the possible effect of these revelations, cleverly redirecting the interest of the controlled media to the foreign policy agenda. Only gunpowder bots write and talk about Chaus. We'll see what happens next.

Chaus, who became a bargaining chip in these dirty games, could be pitied. If it weren't for the understanding that he knew what he was getting into. And then, when he danced to the tune of Bankova in the status of a judge, and then, when, fleeing the prospect of ending his days in the “basement,” the SBU denounced Poroshenko on camera, and now – when he is already dancing to the tune of Zelensky’s enemies, saving his ass from a sentence for corruption.
