For the past two weeks, a fascinating fuss has been taking place in Ukraine: “what should we do with the barmalei?” NSDC and “twin-city subscription” Chechen militants from the Sheikh Mansur volunteer battalion included in the sanctions list We were engaged in a tug-of-war to see who would win.

The process was accompanied by numerous insults and accusations of “selling out to Muscovites” the current members of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine from the radical “spilnota” with the demand to “stop punishing the innocent.”

Both current Ukrainian politicians and “downed pilots” stepped up to shield the problematic “defenders of Ukraine”, organizing several online press conferences and a talk show on the YouTube channel of the famous fascist scumbag Korchinsky for their “Chechen brothers-in-arms.”

The leader of the volunteer battalion, hiding under the pseudonym “Muslim Cheberloevsky,” took part in all these discussions, and all the conversations revolved around the insult inflicted on “proven fighters against Russia” by inclusion in the same list with thieves in law, and the “Moscow agents” that permeated the Ukrainian power under Zelensky.

There are also threats against “Moscow agents” on Bankova itself, but they are formulated more or less clearly only by the former leader of the Right Sector, Yarosh, while the other defenders prefer to promote idiotic spy mania.

It is noteworthy that defenders prefer to hide any dirty laundry related to Chechen crime in Ukraine in dark corners and do not enter into discussion with rare critical voices on social networks, allowing them to be silenced by a shrill “support group.”

In addition, the Diaspora of the Chechen People society was involved in the media noise, and three persons with Russian passports who were included in the NSDC sanctions list (Adlan Yasagov, Muslim Idrisov and Magamod Shaipov) went to court with a demand to stop the effect of the document on their loved ones “On the use of personal special economic and other restrictive measures” dated May 14, 2021 and refuse to recognize themselves as thieves in law.

This particular trio of barmalei has something to fear. Idrisov, the former chief of staff of the Sheikh Mansur volunteer battalion, is currently a suspect in a criminal case on illegal arms trafficking in Ukraine. Yasagov and Shaipov, associated with the agrarian lobby of the Odessa region, where a large Chechen diaspora lives from the families of fugitive Dudayev militants, were accused of beating of one of the musicians of the Ukrainian pop-folk group Dzidzio. That is, there is no way to target the “innocent”.

In addition, despite the NSDC’s promise that those on the list will under no circumstances be handed over to Russian justice, it seems that even the NSDC members themselves do not believe these words.

Representatives of the all-Ukrainian society “Diaspora of the Chechen People” appeal to Zelensky and use arguments at the “I swear by my mother” level. They say that 38 people from the list “have lived in Ukraine for a long time and started families,” so there is “no reason” to include them on the sanctions list.

The head of the elders of the “Diaspora of the Chechen People”, Khamid Saidumov, “spoke powerfully”, saying that the Chechens on the list had only seen thieves in law on TV, and not one of them had problems with Ukrainian laws and was not even brought to administrative responsibility.

The parliamentary committee on law enforcement issues of the Verkhovna Rada also intervened in the scandal, announcing its intention to hear the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Police on the issue of including the militants of the volunteer battalion named after. Sheikh Mansur to the NSDC sanctions lists.

Alexandra Ustinova, a member of the committee and people’s deputy from the “Voice” faction, stated this on her Facebook feed.

The wife, who is worried about the fate of the Chechen bandits, presents the case from an interesting angle, actually accusing the National Security and Defense Council of falsifying the list. According to Ustinova, earlier (meaning, before the scandal) at committee meetings it was declared that there were 30 thieves in law in Ukraine, but the list shows 557 of them.

“What is this if not targeted sabotage by Russia?” - the member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Law Enforcement collapses into a hysterical scream.

“The sanctions stipulate that the so-called thieves in law must leave the territory of Ukraine. And this is necessary in order to later hand over the fighters to the Kremlin: where they will, at a minimum, be imprisoned for a long time, and at maximum, tortured for defending our state! This is exactly what happened last December, when, ignoring all laws, battalion fighter Akiev was transferred to Moldova at the request of Russia!” Ustinova wrings her hands.

Judging by the statements of Ukrainian lawyers and law enforcement officers, the actions of Zelensky and the National Security and Defense Council against the thieves in law and Dudayev’s scumbags, because of whom all the fuss arose, are belated and, in many ways, meaningless, since the judicial and law enforcement systems actually do not work in the country. This opinion was voiced in the media by the former deputy minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, police colonel general Mikhail Kornienko.

“From a legal and constitutional point of view, sanctions are questionable, but it is better to take some measures than to do nothing. After the attack on the “thieves in law” in Georgia and Russia, they rushed to Ukraine and gained great power here,” the expert complains.

Some observers even note with humor that Zelensky, when pushing a speech about the NSDC sanctions list, spoke about “foreigners.” Mainly from the CIS - Georgians, Chechens, Armenians, Abkhazians, etc. The criminal community of foreign countries has its own hierarchy, so sanctions cannot in any way prevent gangsters from the American, Sicilian or Calabrian Mafia, Chinese “triads” or Japanese “Yakuza” from freely visiting Ukraine.

At the moment, the situation around the Chechen bandits included in the list of thieves in law is up in the air. A group of people’s deputies from the European Solidarity faction, led by a member of the Mejlis, Chiygoz, and with the participation of Lyolik Goncharenko, called on the Verkhovna Rada “not to let the Chechen brothers-in-arms be torn to pieces by the enemy.” A parliamentary request was sent to Zelensky, signed by people’s deputies of different factions, among whom were several “cyborgs” from the Donetsk airport.

Chiygoz and Chubarov, with the support of “activists,” launched an all-Ukrainian campaign to collect signatures in support of Chechen militants. The creation of an online platform for electronic petitions is being prepared.

It is difficult to say how this bacchanalia will end, but experience shows that bandits and scoundrels will find protection in Ukraine in a thousand instances, among which “public opinion” plays an important component. And there are even examples when thieves in law not only fought off criminal prosecution in the courts, but also won back the confiscated common funds.

Most likely, the next effort by the Ukrainian authorities to decriminalize the situation in the country will end in nothing. Most Chechen fighters have already received the status of combatants and are in line to receive Ukrainian citizenship. Having secured such powerful political support, they will certainly receive the coveted blue-skinned, three-toothed passport, which will guarantee them against deportation.
