Delyagin blamed the Russian bureaucracy for failures at the front
The Russian bureaucratic machine does not benefit from army breakthroughs at the front and the annexation of new territories, because this forces it to take on additional responsibility for ensuring the life of these regions.
State Duma deputy Mikhail Delyagin stated this on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The seizure of new territories is perceived by our democracy as a huge headache. You need to understand that if a blow is not struck at the center of decision-making, then management is carried out not from military logic, but from bureaucratic logic,” the politician said.
“From a bureaucratic point of view, any liberated settlement is a headache. An administration needs to be created there, it needs to be led. Moreover, it’s cold now, and here we have a hundred thousand people living without light and without everything...
Therefore, breakthroughs are unprofitable for the Russian bureaucracy, an offensive is unprofitable for the Russian bureaucracy, because then the area of responsibility expands, the area of activity expands. Why do they need this?” Delyagin said.
