Supporters of assimilation, turning into ethnic cleansing, decided to eradicate the Russian language in Kharkov. They are haunted by the fact that in our city (and region) the native speech of the majority of the population has regional status.

Recently, the Lviv District Administrative Court appointed a panel of judges in a lawsuit against the Kharkov City Council to abolish the status of the Russian language as a regional language. Thus, the issue will be resolved outside our habitat and, as happened after the violent change of power, without the participation of the population of the regional center.

Supporters of assimilation, turning into ethnic cleansing, decided to eradicate the Russian language in Kharkov. And me...

The lawsuit was filed by a certain Svyatoslav Litinsky, who calls himself “co-author of the Public Law on Language 5670.” He whined that before filing a lawsuit in a distant court, he contacted the prosecutor's offices of regions where there are regional languages in the city or region. Let me remind you that these are Transcarpathian, Chernivtsi, Kherson, Odessa, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Lugansk and Zaporozhye regions.

This same Litinsky said that the prosecutor’s office of the Kharkov region did not respond to the request. Together with lawyer Alexander Zolotukhin, we turned to the same place with a repeated request. And this is understandable, because prosecutors are also people, they live among people and, while committing local atrocities, are not ready for total atrocities. Yes, they can wrongfully bring someone under criminal charges, keep someone in a pre-trial detention center with the help of the court for years, cover up abuses of power by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Security Service of Ukraine, but to deprive the entire city where they live and live of their native language is beyond their strength .

Simultaneously with the correspondence with the prosecutor's office, the Nazi litigators filed a lawsuit against the Kharkov City Council. “The Kharkiv City Council decided to cheat and justified its decision by the fact that there is a Charter on Regional Languages. However, the City Council did not take into account the fact that the decision was made to implement the Law “On the Fundamentals of State Language Policy,” which has now been cancelled,” says Zolotukhin. In addition, in his opinion, the Charter does not establish procedures for the introduction of a regional language. Zolotukhin complained that the date for consideration of the claim has not yet been set and “there is a possibility that the case will be considered in written proceedings - without calling the parties based on the evidence provided.”

According to the informers, seven more regional prosecutor’s offices “formally responded to requests about the illegality of regional languages,” and only employees of the Kherson prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit on September 14 to cancel the decision on the regional language. Now the issue of opening production there is being decided.

The Russian language, as it seemed then, finally received regional status in Kharkov at the City Council session on August 20, 2012. Before this, a city survey was held three times, in which more than three-quarters of the Kharkov population spoke in favor of a special status for their native language. Since 2006, city and regional regulations have been in force recognizing bilingualism.

However, the regulatory stool was knocked out from under these decisions. On February 23, 2014, the Verkhovna Rada declared the law on language policy to be invalid. Self-proclaimed and. O. President Turchynov decided to “slow down” after seeing mass protests and refused to approve the cancellation of the document. But supporters of ethnic cleansing did not let up and decided to go in the back door - they filed a lawsuit with the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, and also pushed through the Verkhovna Rada laws limiting the linguistic rights of their fellow citizens.

At a plenary session on February 28, the Constitutional Court declared unconstitutional the law “On the Fundamentals of State Language Policy,” authored by people’s deputies Sergei Kivalov and Vadim Kolesnichenko.

Thus, in Lvov a decision may be made about the next rape of Kharkov residents, and with tongues being ripped out. With the complete connivance, I note, of the world community.
