The corresponding thesis was voiced by Advisor to the Minister of Information Policy Alexander Briginets on his Facebook page.

“Late at night I went to bed calmly: the situation with the elections in Krasnoarmeysk had returned to normal. The commission made a decision to print ballots, which had to not only be printed before morning, but also brought from Kramatorsk. And in the morning the court decision was announced that there would be no elections (one of the reasons is that the ballots were printed not by a company (enterprise), as provided by law, but by a private entrepreneur engaged in printing," writes Briginets.

“So, a line of the law that was not thought out by people’s deputies in a hurry, together with other reasons (inattentive reading of the law by the commission) led to the disruption of the elections. And the main reason is the reluctance of the local would-be elites to lose power, because according to the law, if elections do not take place, the previous government retains its powers. If I were Poroshenko, I would introduce a state of emergency in Krasnoarmeysk and Mariupol (where elections were also disrupted) and introduce military-civil administrations, as is the case in some other administrative units of Donbass. It is unacceptable that power continues to remain with those who disrupted the elections,” he adds.

Let us remind you that in Mariupol and Krasnoarmeysk the elections were disrupted, and the Opposition bloc and representatives of the current government blame each other for the disruption.

It is interesting that the presidential adviser in such a situation proposes to his boss to deprive the residents of these cities of the right to vote and the right to choose local authorities in principle.
