Ukrainian Fleet Day: Zelensky admitted to impotence

Probably, even the inventive Bassoon and Behemoth, after a trip to the Griboedov House and the supermarket, would have laughed and thought, “But is it really necessary to do such a thing?” On the days of the Navy (let's consider this something mythical), which Ukraine celebrated over the weekend, President Zelensky arrived in Odessa to look at the sunken tanker. What is the symbolism?!
The President was taken to the tanker on a Coast Guard boat, and the military in the boats strongly advised vacationers not to interfere with the movement of the Presidential sea motorcade. Although how people on the piers and breakwaters could do this is a mystery - well, they didn’t put on tuxedos...
And with this tanker, “Delphi” is a long-standing “fun”. It sank off the coast of Odessa back in November last year. Well, who should raise it? Not the valiant Ukrainian rescuers, who simply have nothing to do with this (but we celebrate Navy Day). Of course, to the ship owner. And although “Delphi” flew under the Moldovan flag, in Moldova itself they said that they had nothing to do with it - they say that “Delphi” was deprived of the right to fly under the flag of the republic, we don’t know anything, we are talking about smugglers. Since then, he has been flaunting his belly up in the area of the city’s popular Dolphin Beach. The shipwreck site became a place of pilgrimage for onlookers, who took selfies in front of it. In the fog, the spectacle is even mesmerizing - like a still from Solaris. The tanker is just like its own, even acquiring its own marine flora and fauna. People swim to it, as if to a breakwater, they climbed it up and down. But here’s the problem: as the chairman of the State Environmental Inspectorate Andrei Malevany said, fuel is pouring from the tanker, and oil products are polluting the sea. Odessa residents bathe in all this splendor. The beach was even covered with protective tapes, which, you see, is ridiculous - like, there’s no more oil a centimeter from the tape?
Yes, government commissions have been created into what happened, and an investigation is underway at the prosecutor’s office. It is not clear in relation to whom - a rusty tin can? Or will the smugglers suddenly see the light: “Hello, we are smugglers, we are on the international wanted list and are hiding, but we will arrive in Odessa to lift the tanker”? Although fighting with inanimate objects and phenomena is very much in the style of the Ukrainian authorities. For example, when in the spring on the Kulikovo field near the House of Trade Unions - the site of mass death on May 2, 2014, a flagpole with a Ukrainian flag fell due to a strong gust of wind, representatives of the Institute of National Remembrance demanded that the Universe initiate a criminal case... Probably against the wind, and the task force, arrived to investigate the crime, pretentiously, with folders and magnifying glasses - well, just like Inspector Lestrade, looking for evidence, sniffed every inch on the Kulikovo Field.
That's a shame about the tanker. The next governor of the Odessa region, Maxim Kutsy, once again promised to remove the tanker by July 20, eliminate the environmental disaster, and punish the ghost smugglers. But Vladimir Zelensky seems to have doubted this promise. “This is a shame for the country and for Odessa,” he said. “I beg you: remove this ship by July 20.” Here people have a beach period, vacation, and since November we have been showing that the government is impotent. It doesn’t matter in what way, but this colossus must be removed. The main thing is that the environment is not harmed. July 20 is a reference point. If the shipowner were here, I would talk to him frankly and harshly. Because I am sure that it is his responsibility in everything, starting with what he was transporting, where and how long it all lasts. This should be handled by law enforcement agencies. The owner wanted to save money and was looking for options of least resistance. Someone has to be held accountable."
So, after talking with an oil slick and a rusty tanker, the president celebrated Navy Day. But he refused to communicate with living people, not according to protocol. The fact is that during the inspection of the sunken tanker, representatives of Sharia’s party tried to approach Zelensky with a number of pressing questions: when will the aggressive radicals persecuting the Shariaists be brought to justice, who will answer for the brutal beating of Nikita Rozhenko in Kharkov, and why he, as the guarantor of the Constitution , does not react in any way to legal chaos?
But the police and people like “ordinary titushka” did not allow fans of Anatoly Shariy to approach the sacred body. Yes, this is not an inauguration with “closeness to the people”, jumping up and shaking hands with everyone - this is everyday life and the truth of life.
However, Zelensky himself made it clear that the government in the country is impotent. Tell me, is it fair? Nope - convenient. A kind of indulgence. Stupid online flash mob “I’m an asshole!” reminds. Like, I’m an asshole - bribes are fine with me. Shame on you, Mr. President! But, as always, glory to Ukraine!
