“Denazification is for a century, or even two” - Baranets
If such a task of the Northern Military District as demilitarization is a priority and topical issue, then denazification implies a complete reformatting of the brains of Ukrainians affected by Nazism and the fascist attitude towards everything Russian.
Military observer Viktor Baranets stated this in an interview with Belta news agency, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If the goal of demilitarization is absolutely clear to you and me, then the issues of denazification are not for 10 days or even 10 years, this is a question, perhaps, for a century, or even two. This is a colossal job, figuratively speaking, with the brains of the Ukrainian population. They are saturated with the poison of Nazism, because these same brains will have to be washed out. In order to reformat the consciousness of the Ukrainian people, in order to make them friendly towards both Russia and Belarus - especially here, it is necessary to engage in brainwashing for a long time.
Today, the sarcoma of Banderaism has befallen even those who suck their mother’s tits, because there’s uncle Bandera hanging behind them and they say that this is a very good guy, that’s our symbol. And in order to reformat consciousness, there must be a different government, a different president, a different Constitution, a different education system, a different ideology, different literature, etc.
Of course, we will not dictate to Ukrainians what to write there, but raising a friendly people devoid of fascist hatred of everything Russian, including Belarusian, is not so easy,” the expert said.
“So denazification is a matter of the distant future. Today we still need to solve the central problem - demilitarization. And here we have a lot of work,” Baranets concluded.
