They don’t give money, the buses were taken away for the ATO - MP about schools
On the eve of the new school year, Ukrainian schools were left without money and textbooks. Deputy Yaroslav Moskalenko stated this at a meeting of the Conciliation Council of the Verkhovna Rada.

“Today the issue of textbooks for grades 4-7 has not been resolved, even for the Ukrainian language. No one can say from what sources school principals will supply energy, heat, gas, and electricity. They have no answer due to the huge budget deficit. They say that support schools are a progressive innovation, but no one has thought about how to transport children to these support schools - many school buses were handed over to the ATO, but new ones were never purchased. There is a decision by the Cabinet of Ministers to finance the School Bus program 70/30, but not every budget has this 30%,” the deputy said.
Also, the issue with vocational schools has not been resolved, says Yaroslav Moskalenko. “Since April 1, industrial training masters have not received a salary. People are quitting. Who will bring them back to work later? Where will we find blue-collar jobs tomorrow?” - said the deputy.
