“There is no money, but you hold on”: Kolomoisky explained what he was talking about with Zelensky
Billionaire Igor Kolomoisky spoke about his contacts with President Vladimir Zelensky after his inauguration, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He spoke about this in an interview with Novoye Vremya.
In response to the question of whether he is in contact with President Zelensky, Kolomoisky replied: “Sometimes, rarely.”
In response to a clarifying question about what he communicates with Zelensky, Kolomoisky said: “I support it morally.”
He also gave an example of such telephone conversations: “How are you? Everything is fine? Are you holding on?” - “I’m holding on.” "Difficult?" - "Difficult". “Okay, keep going. There is no money, but you hold on.”
Kolomoisky said that he and Zelensky are not discussing parliamentary elections. He also clarified that there have been few such contacts since the new president took office.
Commenting on the remark that Zelensky once mentioned their personal meeting, Kolomoisky assured that there was no official meeting.
“Maybe I made a mistake,” the billionaire responded to Zelensky’s words.
At the same time, in an interview, he confirmed that he sympathizes with the president:
“We don’t have another president. Yes, I sympathize with him and wish him good luck. And I understand how difficult it is for him.”
