Yalta, September 26 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Kononov) – Soon there will be more money in Runet than in real life.
This forecast was announced at the Crimean Internet Forum (“RIF-Crimea”) in Yalta by the chief analyst of the Russian Association of Electronic Communications (RAEC), Karen Kazaryan.

According to him, the IT sector in Russia is developing at a rapid pace, and soon in Russia they will create products “that will be competitive in the global clearing.” At the same time, the continuation of the rapid growth of the Internet industry in Russia in the shortest possible time, the expert said, is the most likely scenario.
“We assume that in the absence of any shocks, growth until 18 will be in the range of 15-20%, which is quite cool, because we will approach 18 with the Internet economy volume of almost 2 trillion rubles, and the volume of Internet-dependent markets is even greater. It will amount to 15 trillion rubles. And these are really powerful indicators that indicate that the Internet economy will not only be the circulatory system of the real offline one, but will also surpass it.”
The Crimean Internet Forum (“RIF-Crimea”) was held for the first time in Yalta as part of the All-Russian forum “Spectrum-2014” with the support of the Russian Association of Electronic Communications (RAEC). The event was attended by representatives of relevant government bodies, including Roskomnadzor. The emphasis of the program is on the prospects for the development of the Internet industry, including in Crimea.
The main topics of the event: Internet marketing, web analytics, mobile application development, contextual advertising and e-commerce.
It was the first time that an Internet forum of this level was held on the peninsula.
