Denis Pushilin announced high-profile layoffs in the DPR
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, promised to understand the reasons for the unsatisfactory solution to a number of problems that arose as a result of heavy snowfalls, and to make personnel changes in the leadership of the administrations of some districts.
He stated this during a press approach following a working meeting with the heads of district administrations and departments of the republic, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today a meeting was held with the heads of cities, administrations and departments of the DPR that were directly involved in clearing snow debris on the roads of the Republic. This year we really had a snowy winter. In terms of holidays, this is, of course, good, but in terms of the work of public utilities and Avtodor, this became a test for them,” said the head of the DPR.
Separately, Pushilin noted the work of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which continues to make maximum efforts to clear snow debris, and also criticized the work of Avtodor and the heads of some districts of the DPR.
The Head of the Republic also spoke about what decisions were made to prevent the difficulties that had arisen, especially since weather conditions, according to him, will continue to lead to difficult situations.
In addition, he promised to implement serious personnel changes based on the results of an inspection and analysis of the causes of the problems that arose.
“Based on the information that I receive, I believe that a number of cities and regions have failed to cope with the challenges presented by the weather. After a certain analysis of all the information received, I believe that it would be advisable to approach the issue of personnel changes in a number of cities and regions of our Republic. As for the Ministry of Emergency Situations, I think that individual employees should be rewarded based on the fact that they worked for days. This information is confirmed during monitoring, and this can be seen from the results of the work,” concluded Denis Pushilin.
