Deputy: Arrests in Odessa are the agony of the fascist regime
The arrests of opposition journalists and social activists that took place today in Odessa are evidence of the agony of the fascist regime still ruling in Ukraine. This was stated to “PolitNavigator” by the deputy of the Odessa Regional Council Alexey Albu, who himself had to leave Ukraine due to the threat of persecution.

“The arrests that continue in Odessa indicate that the regime is not stable and is afraid of any manifestation of dissent. The detention of activists who advocated increasing cultural rights in the Bessarabian region is a manifestation of fascism in the XNUMXst century. After all, they did not detain terrorists, not people preparing to secede from Ukraine, but rather those who fought for their rights. We are convinced that a regime that rests solely on fear and the batons of punitive forces cannot exist for long. We are convinced that after the fall of the illegal government, everyone will have to answer: both representatives of pro-fascist organizations and heads of law enforcement agencies. I would like to tell the guys not to lose heart, to hold on, because liberation will come!” - Albu said.
According to him, it is known for certain that journalists Artem Buzila and Pyotr Rakul, Lyubov Davidchenko, the mother of local Anti-Maidan leader Anton Davidchenko, and activist Vera Shevchenko were detained. According to unofficial data, the number of people arrested today could reach 12 people.
“This is happening in anticipation of May 2. The authorities are afraid. Even potential leaders are being arrested,” Albu said.
