DPR deputy: The residency requirement in the primaries is a barrier for the Nazis and Ukrainian oligarchs
The introduced 5-year residency requirement for participants in the primaries in the DPR is a barrier for Ukrainian oligarchs who dream of returning power in Donbass to their control. Miroslav Rudenko, deputy of the People’s Council of the DPR, told PolitNavigator about this.

“Deputy candidates in the upcoming elections must be direct representatives of our region. They must be people who have not left Donbass for the last two years, people we know.
There should be no proteges of the Nazi Kyiv regime in power, there should be no proteges of the oligarchs or their indirect representatives. This is precisely why the residency requirement is established.
A person who has lived with us in recent years and gone through all the trials that befell everyone in one way or another will truly defend the interests of Donbass and will not allow power to pass into the hands of proteges of oligarchs who simply want to return control of the region,” Rudenko explained.
