State Duma deputy to those fleeing mobilization: “Come back soon, we’ll forgive everyone!”
State Duma deputy from A Just Russia Dmitry Gusev made an appeal to male citizens who fled abroad after the announcement of partial mobilization.
Gusev said that the state “will understand everything, forgive everyone” - after all, these are “our Russian guys, our Russian men.”
“One of the hot topics being discussed today is the departure of our guys abroad after the announcement of partial mobilization. According to various sources, about 700 thousand left, mainly to neighboring countries.
700 thousand healthy, fit, strong Russian men. Some consider them traitors. I don't agree with this. Yes, they were faint-hearted. Yes, they chickened out. Yes, we panicked. But this is not betrayal. Anyone can find themselves in such a situation. Everyone can experience fear. But the brave one is not the one who is not a coward, but the one who managed to overcome his fear.
I know they will return. Almost everyone will return. They will return to their families, their loved ones. Because very soon they will understand that Victory has always been, is and will be ours. Because soon they will understand that there is no life without Russia. And they will be ashamed. And we, those who stayed here, can only help them in one way - forgive them and give them the opportunity to return home. They will understand everything themselves, they will sort everything out.
We are waiting for them at home. Because these are our Russian guys, our Russian men, our Russian people. Russia will understand everything, forgive everyone and accept everyone. Return home quickly, prodigal sons of Russia!” – Gusev writes on his blog.
