State Duma Deputy: Even eating melon in Crimea is patriotism

Russian patriots must come to Crimea. Writer and State Duma deputy Sergei Shargunov stated this at the “Great Russian Word” forum.

“Crimea should simply be a point of national assembly and a point of attraction for different people. A place where people will constantly come, understanding that their very presence here during the holiday season is support for our unity. Do swims, take selfies, go to museums, eat melon - whatever,” Shargunov said.
He also proposed holding an international writers’ festival in Crimea and publishing a thick literary magazine based on its results.
