State Duma Deputy: Dayton's brainchild Bosnia and Herzegovina is a medieval disgrace of Western diplomacy
The Dayton Agreement has become a disgrace to Western diplomacy, which applies medieval principles of viceroyalty to modern Europe.
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Alexander Babakov stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel “Soloviev.live,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Dayton Agreement is still in force in Bosnia and Herzegovina. There is virtually no statehood there. There are three subjects and a certain overseer appointed by Europe. And this is in the 21st century. Of course, all this is already outdated, but it continues to exist because this is the “apotheosis” of European diplomacy - it’s a shame. This is a smoldering conflict,” Babakov said.
Bosnia and Herzegovina was created through the artificial unification of territories as a result of the Dayton Agreement, a peace treaty signed at the initiative of Great Britain and the United States between participants in the civil war in November 1995 in the American city of Dayton.
