According to him, today the fate of the entire Russian world is being decided in Novorossiya, so Russia will support the republics.

“We need to accept the challenge of Novorossiya, to support those people who live there, and who have recently been hearing signals from Moscow that they are supposedly going to be left to their fate. Nobody will leave them. We will support in all respects - be it education, humanitarian, social assistance, because we understand that our fate is being decided there, too,” Nikonov said.
