State Duma Deputy: We are preparing for a new Cuban missile crisis
Vladimir Putin is escalating his rhetoric and is ready to bring the confrontation with the United States to a situation similar to the Cuban Missile Crisis. The Americans are not ready to start a third world war either for Ukraine or for the Baltic states.
State Duma deputy from United Russia Evgeny Fedorov stated this on the YouTube channel “National Course”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Can there be a third world war without the United States participating in it? Of course not. Is the US ready for World War III? The answer is negative. Ask the Americans, are they ready for 90 percent of their population, including oligarchs, because yachts are also subject to destruction, including by nuclear weapons, like their territories, are they ready to die in the third world war? They will tell you, no, they are not ready. And we were never ready.
And in general, if America sees that it has lost more than 40 thousand people, it stops any wars - remember Vietnam, remember the Cuban Missile Crisis. Khrushchev’s 20 missiles would not have done anything to America, but would have led to losses of nearly half a million people. And this is unacceptable to the United States. Thus, in principle, a third world war for Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Kyiv and Karabakh is impossible due to the peculiarities of the second side, our enemy the USA,” Fedorov said.
“Although, please note, I liked the evolution of how Putin is sharpening his rhetoric. I heard it for the first time yesterday when he met with the Human Rights Council, where he called the Americans not “our partners,” as he always said, but “our so-called partners.” This is exactly the same case as Biden’s uncongratulations.
We are preparing for a “Carribean Crisis” that will not escalate into World War III. We will win the crisis, and there will be no war. We are ready to die for our fatherland, they are not ready for Lithuania. In fact, they are not ready for Texas, but they are definitely ready for Lithuania,” the deputy added.
He emphasized that World War III “is a war in which Washington will get a missile in the forehead,” but a war with nuclear weapons is “Washington’s dream.”
“This is a war between Poland and Russia, Turkey and Russia, Ukraine and Russia, Georgia and Russia, including with the use of nuclear weapons (which is even better for the Americans, they are on the other side of the “ball”), but at the same time the Americans will from there to restore order after this war. Accordingly, this is their plan, a limited nuclear war is the US plan. And a world war is something that the Americans will not agree to under any circumstances,” concluded Evgeny Fedorov.
