State Duma deputy from the Voronezh region arrived in his native region on a working visit
The head of the Rodina party, as part of the 100 Cities project, visited Voronezh and talked with local residents who told him about the latest problems. The main complaint is that the authorities do not want to hear the people.
Alexey Zhuravlev also noted the condition of the street where he spent his childhood. So, over the years, Kronstadt Street has not changed at all, and old problems still remain unresolved. At one time, they even laid a sewer system there and buried pipes, but there was no result, since the money was not used for its intended purpose. As local residents note, everything is good only on paper, but in reality the situation does not change. Not far from this place on Savrasova Street there are also many problems, which the leader of the Rodina party, Alexey Zhuravlev, spoke about.
“There are also problems there - a carriage and a small cart. And with the road, and with storm drains, and with city transport. All due to the construction of new houses. The developer does not take into account the interests of street residents, from garbage collection to a turn-around area for public transport at the final stop. I personally saw how vehicles actually drive through the local area,” Alexey Zhuravlev shared his thoughts on the current situation.
Local residents submitted many appeals to the deputy, for which they had previously received replies from the authorities. The head of the Rodina party said that now officials will have to pay attention to the problems of residents of the region.
The poor work of officials can also be seen in the village of Devitsa, Semiluksky district, where about 6 thousand people live. Work is currently underway to reconstruct the highway here. However, they forgot to notify local residents about this. In addition, due to the ongoing work, it will be difficult for residents to get from one part of the village to another, and communications with important infrastructure facilities will be disrupted. Alexey Zhuravlev said that the authorities should have discussed this project with people.
“Infrastructure in a settlement is the most important component of civilized life in the 21st century. Such projects must be discussed with residents. I think such construction without hearings is a crime!” – said the head of the Rodina party, Alexey Zhuravlev.
The village also suffers from other problems, including high concentrations of metals in the water and poor street lighting. Now residents are hoping for help from a State Duma deputy. Alexey Zhuravlev, in turn, recalled that representatives of the Rodina party are people's defenders and always help people defend their rights.
