State Duma Deputy: It’s time to recognize the referendum in Donbass
It is high time for the State Duma to recognize the results of the independence referendum held in the DPR. State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Kazbek Taisaev stated this to a PolitNavigator correspondent while laying flowers at the site of the death of Alexander Zakharchenko.
“Alexander Vladimirovich was not just a good friend and leader of the Donetsk People’s Republic. He personified the banner of the Russian world in the fight against fascism. We have all been dealt a blow, and we must respond to it adequately.
I spoke to the State Duma several times and proposed recognizing the results of the referendum. I believe that it would be right, in memory of Alexander Vladimirovich, if the State Duma voted and recognized the results of the referendum. This would be the best gift to his memory.
