Kyiv, April 10 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – After the adoption of the law banning communist symbols, Ukraine must demolish all buildings built under the Union and part with lands annexed to the country under the communists. Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education Vyacheslav Nikonov stated this on the air of the talk show “Evening”.

According to him, during the years of rule of the now banned party, the territory of Ukraine has grown eight times.

“It is now logical, after the demolition of the monuments to Lenin, which occurred, to now demolish those buildings that were built during the 75 years of the banned party’s stay in power, all industrial enterprises, all power plants, coal mines, all housing stock and return territorial acquisitions. Over those 75 years, the territory of the Ukrainian state grew eightfold. If you give up all this, then that’s wonderful,” Nikonov said.
