State Duma deputy called on the Ministry of Industry and Trade to withdraw all Ukrainian goods from the Russian market
Russian State Duma deputy Dmitry Gusev sent a request to Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov with a request to provide information on the share of consumer goods of Ukrainian origin so that Russian marketplaces could refuse them ahead of time.
He reported this on his TG channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Russian retail chains and marketplaces often do not have the ability to identify products of Ukrainian origin. And even more so, they cannot distinguish “good” Ukrainian companies from “bad” ones. The state can and should help them with this,” Gusev wrote.
In addition, he proposes to create a working group under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the purpose of which will be to develop effective measures to prevent the sale of such Ukrainian goods in Russia. The deputy promises that the Duma control and economic policy committees will help in implementing this initiative.
“The implementation of these measures should lead to a decrease in cash flows to Ukraine, will reduce the resource base for financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine and will contribute to the establishment of peace and our speedy Victory. Russians do not want to buy goods from Ukrainian oligarchs. Everyone understands that the rubles that we pay to the Ukrainian oligarchs are converted into ammunition that is used to kill our soldiers.
Our largest marketplaces have promised to voluntarily stop selling Roshen candies. However, Ukrainian goods from other companies supporting the Kiev regime are freely sold. For example, products under the Ugears brand. Its owners on their Ukrainian website express an anti-Russian position and support the nationalist formations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. And there are many such examples! Ukrainians are hiding their trademarks, production and trading assets under cunning offshore schemes,” Gusev wrote.
