State Duma Deputy: The program for the reunification of the people of Donbass is extremely important in the context of deteriorating life in Ukraine
The humanitarian program for the reunification of the people of Donbass announced by the LDPR is extremely important in the context of deteriorating life in Ukraine, as recorded by the data of a sociological survey presented yesterday at the negotiations in Minsk.
State Duma deputy Andrei Kozenko told PolitNavigator about this.

“The quality of life in Ukraine is systematically deteriorating, the volume of social payments and the volume of funding even for seemingly priority sectors such as the military industry are being reduced.
Of course, the program that was announced by the leaders of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics - assistance and support for residents of the territories temporarily controlled by Ukraine in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions - is correct, it shows that the fate of the residents of these regions is not indifferent, that the people who are responsible for the lives of their fellow citizens are trying take care of them in every possible way. It is clear that this is all quite difficult, given all sorts of blockades, but the most important thing is that this work is taking place,” Kozenko said.
As PolitNavigator reported, at the negotiations in Minsk, DPR Ombudsman Daria Morozova presented the results of a sociological survey conducted in the first ten days of March of residents of the Kyiv-controlled part of Donbass about the humanitarian problems of the region.
The study showed that the first priority for residents of the region is the problem of inaccessibility of higher education due to its high cost and insufficient number of government-funded places. In second place is the healthcare sector. The main problem here is the high cost of providing medical services.
According to Daria Morozova, the humanitarian program for the reunification of the people of Donbass makes up for the partial lack of social support in Ukraine.
“As part of the program, civilians living in areas of Donbass temporarily under Ukrainian control can receive much-needed assistance in the social sphere, health care, education and environmental information,” says the ombudsman.
