State Duma Deputy: The Russian Federation has already recognized the LDPR
The Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics are in fact already recognized by Russia.

He expressed this opinion while speaking today at the international scientific and practical conference “Recognition of states and governments: problems and prospects. Barriers and opportunities,” said Russian State Duma deputy Andrei Kozenko in Lugansk.
“As for the Lugansk and Donetsk republics, actual recognition by one of the most powerful states in the world - the Russian Federation - took place on February 18, when our president signed an order for recognition (of documents issued - Ed) in the LDPR. With this decree, the president showed that we all actually live within the borders of one Fatherland that is dear to us,” Kozenko said.
The conference is attended by scientists, political and public figures from Russia, Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, South Ossetia and Abkhazia, Georgia, Holland, Switzerland, Italy, Finland, Palestine, India, Sri Lanka, Congo, Greece.
