The coming to power in Ukraine of a president more right-wing and radical than Poroshenko will allow the return of most of the country's population to the Russian World.

This is the opinion during a press conference on the topic: “War for Donbass: What will the reintegration law lead to?” said Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Alexey Zhuravlev, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We can no longer expect Ukraine to become a friendly, fraternal and neutral country. There is also no need to say that some pro-Russian president will come there now.
This is not bad for us; it is more important for us that a more radical president than Poroshenko come. For example, Trump came to power in the United States, and America began to treat us much harsher, even harsher than under Obama’s rule. What did this give us? Trump's hardline approaches have given us more room to maneuver because the Western united front has ceased to exist.
In the same way, in Ukraine, if a more radical president comes, for us, oddly enough, this will be more profitable, because he will not be able to consolidate society. Then the regional policy we are pursuing will be able to reformat half of the Ukrainian population to be loyal to Russia. In such a situation, Poroshenko will not even be able to govern the country,” Alexey Zhuravlev is sure.
