State Duma deputy demands to remove Ukrainian vodka and sweets from Russian stores
Ukrainian oligarchs who sponsor the war against Russia continue to make profits from the sale of their products in the Russian Federation - in particular, Khortitsa vodka by Zaporozhye businessman Yevgeny Chernyak and Roshen candy by Nazi Petro Poroshenko are still sold here.
This was stated by State Duma deputy Dmitry Gusev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we go to any Russian marketplace now, we can see Ukrainian-made products there. For example, vodka of the Khortitsa brand or Roshen candies. The owners of these companies pay taxes to the Ukrainian budget, from which the Ukrainian Armed Forces are financed. And sometimes they openly sponsor Ukrainian militants who kill our guys.
Do you understand? We pay them money, with which they buy weapons that they use against us.
I raised this issue at the Duma Control Committee and sent a deputy request to the director of the Federal Service for Financial Monitoring.
I think we need to act quickly and decisively. We’re not going to calculate exactly what percentage of profits the Ukrainian oligarch transfers to kill Russian soldiers?” – Gusev explained.
The owner of Khortitsa Chernyak three days after the start of the Russian SVO declared support for Vladimir Zelensky, wishing him to be re-elected for a new term.
Thank you!
