State Duma Deputy: Entire institutions have been created in Poland to rewrite history
The Polish leadership has created special institutions that, using budget funds and Western grants, are rewriting the history of the Great Patriotic War.
State Duma deputy Alexey Chepa stated this during a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Unfortunately, the Polish ruling elite has brought our relations to an absolutely hostile state. The politics of the Poles completely constitute the ideology of Russophobia.
In the last 20 years, Poles have intensified their work in the field of historical memory. The special institutes created in Poland work at the request of the state, and are also paid for with EU grants.
This entire policy of Warsaw is built on creating a new version of the Great Patriotic War and distorting the role of the USSR in this war. Poland says they have two opponents, Russia and Germany, because Germany does not support the Poles on many issues,” he said.
Let us recall that earlier the Polish ambassador scolded Ukraine for censorship and suggested "reach an agreement" about joint veneration of the Nazis.
