A deputy from Kharkov, at Farion’s request, switched to “Mova”
Ukrainian nationalists forced Kharkov politician Andrei Lesik to switch to the “language”. During the broadcast of the talk show “Great Lviv Speaks,” Lesik appeared with a portrait of his grandfather, who fought during the Great Patriotic War, and began a conversation in Russian, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I greet those people who are now in the studio, I greet the Ukrainians..,” Lesik began.
– Ukrainians do not speak Russian. Learn your grandfather's language. We don’t understand what you’re saying, I don’t understand anything at all what you’re saying,” ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy, nationalist Irina Farion interrupted him.
– When we descend to the level of what language to speak, there will be no discussion about anything. Please listen to my position and respect the people who live in the east. By the way, by the way, I was born in Western Ukraine, in the Volyn region,” Lesik retorted.
“So you’re a werewolf, you’re just a werewolf.” Mankurt and the Janissaries,” Farion switched to insults.
– Mr. Andrey, please tell me how important it is for you to speak Russian? Could you speak Ukrainian? – the presenter intervened.
“I, of course, can speak Ukrainian fluently,” Lesik answered.
- It would be very good for us. We would be simply grateful to you,” the presenter was delighted.
“If this is the main question for you, then there is no problem at all,” agreed Lesik.
This was followed by another short squabble with Farion, whom Lesik called “a woman,” and she responded by calling on him to “kill himself against the wall.”
Thank you!
