“The situation in the East of Ukraine worries the whole world. The truce that is currently underway is definitely better than war, and, first of all, because Ukrainians are not dying. The bloodshed has stopped and we have time for negotiations and analysis of the situation. It is necessary to deal with the leadership of the ATO, which gives incomprehensible instructions, and finally stop fraud and amateurism, because it costs Ukraine too much,” Shevchenko said on air at the 3 Studio TV channel.
Shevchenko said that the policeman (Defense Minister Valeriy Geletey is a career policeman - editor's note) cannot be the main leader of the Ukrainian army and is very outraged by the situation with the incomprehensible arrests of military commanders, in particular the Prykarpattya battalion commander Vitaly Komar.
“I think that time and the work of the investigative group already established in the Verkhovna Rada will put everything in its place, but for now I can only say one thing: the real headquarters of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is now located in Dnepropetrovsk. Specialists and experienced professionals work there,” Shevchenko emphasized.
