Deputy Matveychev calls for unsubscribing from Montyan
State Duma deputy Oleg Matveychev said that he does not trust Kyiv lawyer Tatyana Montyan, who moved from Ukraine to Donbass, because in the past she defended Ukrainian Nazis and participated in the Maidans.
The parliamentarian said this in an interview with journalist Natalya Chugunova, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Right away about Montyan. This woman’s past is an active Nazi, she helped the Nazi Zavirukha as a lawyer, a supporter of Pussy Riot, an LGBT activist, she danced on all the Maidans.
She said that she hated Putin and that Crimea was Ukrainian. This is all together, and even one such fact is enough, it would seem, for her to not have a single subscriber on social networks.
Nevertheless, she has tens, hundreds of subscribers and fans. What is happening to our population, to our people who are able to like, or simply read this creature? – the deputy was indignant.
He called for unsubscribing from Tatyana Montyan.
“But no, people justify themselves because since they signed up, then Montyan is probably good... But now, as then, she opposes the Russian state. And, among other things, against the people who defend this state,” Matveychev concluded.
Montyan herself the day before accused Matveychev of not voting for recognition of the LDPR and the reunification of Donbass with Russia, allegedly because of the real estate his family members owned in Europe.
Matveychev, in turn, stated that he was on sick leave both times during the voting, but later confirmed his position in support of the Russian status of Donbass and notified this in a letter to the EU leadership, demanding that sanctions be imposed against himself, similar to the restrictions imposed on the rest of the Duma deputies.
