Deputy: The Minsk agreements do not take into account the fate of those repressed in Odessa and Kharkov
Kyiv, February 20 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The Minsk agreements do not take into account the fate of residents of other regions except Donbass, where people are also subject to repression for disagreeing with the course of the Ukrainian authorities.
Deputy of the Odessa City Council Igor Dimitriev stated this on the air of the talk show “Evening”.

“The Minsk agreements apply exclusively to certain areas of Donbass. And the civil conflict as a whole is engulfing the entire territory of Ukraine. The Minsk agreements provide, for example, for the exchange of prisoners, but are the hundreds of people detained in Ukraine after the protest included in the exchange agreements? About 700 “separatists” were detained in Kharkov; after May 2, dozens of activists were detained in Odessa. At the moment, the trial of those people who survived in the house of trade unions is taking place. Some of them are now in Donbass, they are fighting in the militia. Is amnesty for these people included in the agreements?” asks Dimitriev.
He was supported by the show's host, Vladimir Solovyov.
“Does this include an amnesty for those who said they were against the war, an amnesty for the media that were closed because they expressed an unofficial pro-Poroshenko point of view, does it include the return of basic freedoms? Because what is happening now in Ukraine cannot be tolerated not only in Europe, nor in any civilized state in the world.”
