MP: NATO completes encirclement of Serbia
The West grossly violates the sovereignty of different countries by supporting separatism and color revolutions around the world, one of the first examples of which are the events in the former Yugoslavia.
This was stated by member of the People's Assembly (Parliament) of Serbia, Secretary General of the Serbian People's Party Jovan Palalic at a meeting of the Interim Commission of the Federation Council for the protection of state sovereignty and prevention of interference in the internal affairs of the Russian Federation, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, the West continues to impose political and economic models that are beneficial to it on sovereign states; if local governments show disobedience, a change of power is carried out using already proven technologies with support from abroad.
“We in Serbia are faced with a combination of two gross violations of international law - both support for the secession of our southern autonomous province of Kosovo, bombing, and the implementation of the scenario of the first color revolution, directly financed and supported by the West.
At the moment, this confrontation in Europe continues in the form of NATO's aggressive expansion in the Balkans, as well as its military assets on the borders with Russia - contrary to all previous agreements.
Russia’s proposal to create a joint security policy in Europe was rejected,” Palalic said.
According to him, the West is not abandoning attempts to force Serbia to recognize the legality of the annexation of Kosovo.
“Serbia is under great pressure to recognize separatism on its territory and also to join the NATO pact. Once North Macedonia joins this military alliance, which is expected in the coming months, we will practically find ourselves surrounded by it.
However, the position of the Serbian people is to never recognize the independence of Kosovo or join the NATO pact. We consider Kosovo as part of Serbia in accordance with our Constitution,” Palalic emphasized.
