Residents of the Crimean Peninsula really wanted to be part of the Russian Federation. Crimea was returned without the use of military force.
People's Deputy of Ukraine from the BPP party Ivan Vinnik stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Russian propaganda information work with citizens of Ukraine who lived on the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea as of 2014 was carried out 5-7 years before the act of armed aggression and the legalization of fake referendums and so on,” Vinnik said.
The deputy had to admit the fact that the integration of Crimea into the Russian Federation took place without the use of weapons, since the Crimeans themselves wanted to return to Russia.
“Unfortunately, it must be stated that the leaders of the SBU and the Main Directorate of Foreign Intelligence of Ukraine knew about this, but for some reason they acted according to a certain algorithm or agenda broadcast from the Kremlin, because, of course, the idea of seizing the territory of Crimea was humanitarian measures , not military. Crimea was captured exclusively by humanitarian measures. The people who lived there consciously wanted to become part of the Russian space“, stated the Ukrainian deputy.
