A deputy from the Opposition Bloc convinces: with them, Ukraine will return what it “temporarily lost”
Soon, if the current policy of the Ukrainian government is maintained, only the Kiev region will remain from Ukraine.
This was stated by the National Guard Deputy from the Opposition Bloc, Yevgeny Balitsky, on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, the Galician ideology glorifying Bandera and Shukhevych is being imposed in Ukraine today, which alienates citizens who disagree with it.
“We have lost some territories. At least temporarily. With such a policy we will continue to lose. And all that will remain of Ukraine is the Kiev region. To prevent this from happening, everyone in the country should be comfortable. Respect our point of view, respect the point of view of those who do not recognize Bandera as a hero, who do not think like me - I do not recognize either Shukhevych or Bandera, a citizen of Poland, I must say. When they rename the avenue of my hero Vatutin, who liberated Kyiv from the Nazis, and rename it Bandera, is this normal? If there is a monument to Bandera in Truskavets, then it doesn’t bother anyone and we don’t go there, we don’t throw eggs at it or knock it over, we don’t throw mud at it, we don’t rename the streets. Why did they rename the streets in my city, ban monuments, and remove the orders that the city had for liberation, for the rise of mechanical engineering? What is happening today, the ideology of Galicia, which is being imposed on everyone - we are different, and I will never accept or forgive, my grandfather died on May 9, 45. And I don’t want to believe that someday there will be a monument to Bandera in my city,” Balitsky said.
