The single voting day on September 9, which coincided with the 190th birthday of the writer Leo Tolstoy, turned into a cynical media campaign about the supposedly convincing victory of the United Russia party. However, the situation in the Primorsky Territory clearly demonstrates the crisis of the party in power, from which the head of state is distancing himself.

Irina Yasakova, a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the A Just Russia party, writes about this in her blog.

“This whole press is filled to the point of nausea with hypocrisy, hypocrisy of two kinds: official and liberal. The first is the gross hypocrisy of corrupt scribblers, who yesterday were ordered to criticize the Western order with their pension system, and today - to look for patriotism in this and try to present all the advantages of Europe in a rosy light... Much more subtle and therefore much more harmful and dangerous is liberal hypocrisy... Pompous phrases about the “fight against corruption” are completely false,” the author notes.

“Everything was completely mixed up and confused in the Primorsky Territory. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation saw huge falsifications in the second round of the Primorye elections and called for intervention in the presidential elections. The electoral commission announced that the elections had taken place, but refused to sum up the final results. Ultimately, the election results were overturned. Nobody knows what will happen next. This uncertainty has been going on for the fifth day and is painfully felt by all sides of the political system. The authorities finally realized that there was no point in continuing to maintain the illusion of a democratic electoral system; this situation could no longer be resolved peacefully, and the systemic opposition realized that the self-nominated candidates randomly on the ballot were more connected with each other than representatives of different opposition parties. The LDPR and the Communist Party of the Russian Federation mutually accused each other of attempts to unjustifiably seize power and refused to create coalitions in the second rounds.

If we turn to our classic, we are now experiencing the 7th part of Lev Nikolayevich’s famous novel “Anna Karenina”, in which the role of Anna is assigned to “United Russia”, Karenin - to Dmitry Medvedev, and the role of Vronsky goes to Vladimir Putin,” writes Yasakova.

“Karenina and Vronsky live in Moscow. Anna is still not accepted in high society. Only Steve's brother and his wife Dolly communicate with her. Anna expects a divorce from Karenin, but he ultimately refuses her. The relationship between Anna and Vronsky is becoming colder. Lovers quarrel more and more often. Anna is having a hard time with this. She feels deeply unhappy and lonely. Anna throws herself under a train and dies...

The impossible mission of implementing pension reform will inevitably destroy United Russia, and the party cannot fail to realize this. She tries with all her might to defend herself in this situation, appealing to her leader, but in vain, he apparently no longer needs her. The leader is driven by other tasks; he looks several years, or even decades ahead.

The leader has come to terms with this loss and in this situation is forced to simply promise that everything will be fine. But it won't be good anymore! A wave of protest voting is sweeping across Russia, engulfing the weakest regional leaders first. But, of course, it will reach others, creating chaos and causing huge contradictions in the political system.

It is at this moment that the “A Just Russia” party should enter the central stage. Its role, however, is not yet noticeable and not designated, but it is this party that is destined to become the central driving force of the new political system.

At first, remaining aloof from the scandalous consequences of the second rounds, in the future it will be the A Just Russia party that will become the fulcrum on which all participants in the new political system can rely. This party will maintain balance and show a way out of the situation.

In the current circumstances, only one politician, Sergei Mironov, remains calm and seems to know what to do: “The government must win elections fairly and convincingly, and if it loses, it must leave with dignity. And since there is no complete confidence in the accuracy of the results, you need to calmly and impartially figure out how justified all the claims are. The law gives enough time for this."

Our political system is entering a time of maturity. They say that defeated armies learn well. Of course, the comparison of political parties to armies is true only in a very limited sense. But it is precisely the maturity and development of our political system that every hour modifies and aggravates those conditions that push millions of voters, united by hatred of unjust laws, to a democratic struggle for their rights,” the deputy writes.
