The deputy who gave the United States dirt on Poroshenko: the Verkhovna Rada could have ended the war long ago
The current Verkhovna Rada is so corrupt that Petro Poroshenko, if he really wanted to achieve peace in Donbass, could easily buy the votes necessary to approve laws consistent with the Minsk agreements.
This was revealed on the air of the talk show “60 Minutes” on the Rossiya TV channel, where fugitive Ukrainian MP Alexander Onishchenko participated, who, as is known, previously disclosed and transferred to the US intelligence services data on Poroshenko’s colossal corruption - facts of bribery of parliamentarians in the appointment of the necessary presidential administration prosecutors and other officials.

“It turns out that if Poroshenko wanted, then Donbass would have long ago had a special status, federalization, if everything was for money in the Verkhovna Rada, how much would it cost?” TV presenter Yevgeny Popov directly asked Onishchenko.
“This is really in the hands of Poroshenko. As I understand it, at the moment it is really unprofitable for him to stop this war. You understand, these are contracts, this is obtaining additional Western loans - all this money can be washed through contracts related to military operations. Therefore, he is not interested in stopping the war - for him, this is always a status in which martial law can be introduced and, thereby, retain his power if any unrest begins there. The second is cynical enrichment. He is such a greedy person, for him money is above all,” Onishchenko answered.
