Rada deputy: 30 thousand reservists are ready to strike from Transnistria
For Ukraine, not only the east and north, but also the border with Transnistria are extremely dangerous from a military point of view.
Verkhovna Rada deputy, former militant of the Right Sector banned in Russia Andrei Sharaskin said this on air on the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Sharaskin, we are talking about 30 thousand potential soldiers who, if necessary, can act on the side of the Russian army.
“About the invasion... I would like to roll back to the moment when we remembered only our eastern temporarily occupied territories, when for some reason Crimea was not remembered at all. Then we began to remember Crimea as a temporarily occupied territory and we understand that Crimea is eastern Ukraine. And suddenly we now have a threat from Belarus in our vocabulary, and it is recorded. In fact, that threat was there from the very beginning, it was talked about and a lot of things were done,” Shaarskin said.
“The next point we have is in the Tiraspol area. A small point, although in fact, this appendix is from the Vinnitsa and Odessa regions, which is only 10-15 kilometers wide. Transnistria. Officially there seems to be a small contingent there, but there are huge warehouses there that were left by the 14th Army of the Russian Federation,” says the extremist.
“There are less than two thousand official personnel there. Half who seem to be guarding, another half who seem to be peacekeepers in Transnistria. But almost 30 thousand mobilization reserves are only official data. We have 30 thousand mobilization reserves from Tiraspol. And this is extremely important, it’s not just a point, it’s a very important question,” said Sharaskin.
