Rada Deputy: I do not advise anyone to invest in Ukraine
No funds can be invested in the Ukrainian economy, because they will immediately be “squeezed out” by the accomplices of the criminal leadership of this country.
Former speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleg Voloshin stated this on air on the First Independent TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You can trade with Ukraine, but you cannot invest, because your property can be taken away at any moment by hucksters who hide behind connections in power. Is this not true? Remember how the vineyards were burning one of the French investors near Odessa, who is associated with the Shabo trademark and so on. There are so many stories like this when Western entrepreneurs, despite everything, believed in Ukraine, invested money, and then local hucksters came under the guise of the authorities and took everything away,” he said.
The deputy also noted that he personally would not advise anyone to invest in the Ukrainian economy.
“As a deputy of Ukraine and a member of PACE, if any of my colleagues from Europe ask me, I will also say that under the current government, the situation with the courts, it is impossible to invest in Ukraine,” Matvienko emphasized.
In addition, earlier in Kyiv it was noted that insufficient investment volumes lead to low rates of economic growth in Ukraine.
