“The ATO in Slavyansk has entered the active phase. It had to happen, and it did. After the loss of Crimea, we no longer have the right to make mistakes. The strategy of appeasing the aggressor, unfortunately, did not work, and now no one will give up without a fight,” she wrote on her Facebook page.
“So, Russian propaganda will cry out about the militants of the Right Sector and victims among the “civilian population.” But do we really have to coordinate every step on our own soil with Kiselev, Solovyov and the entire army of imperial propagandists? When it comes to the conciliarity of Ukraine, there is no time for compromise,” Orobets wrote.
“It’s enough for the occupiers to dictate their terms and terrorize people. “People’s governors, “people’s mayors” and referendums at gunpoint are enough,” the deputy called.
“Of course, we must think about the consequences of such actions. But if the price of avoiding Putin’s aggression is the surrender of Ukrainian territory, we will not pay it,” said Lesya Orobets.
Let us recall that, as Navigator reported, Verkhovna Rada deputy Viktor Baloga demanded that Turchynov convene a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada and end the ATO in connection with the threat of invasion by Russian troops. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that due to the events in Ukraine, military exercises have begun on the border. Previously, the rebels had repeatedly appealed to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a request to send peacekeeping troops to Donbass.
