Rada deputy calls for counting resources for a full-scale war
The Ukrainian authorities must conduct an audit of state resources to determine the country's readiness for war.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Sofia Fedyna stated this on air on the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, it will be necessary to provide at least a hundred thousand troops.
“Today the authorities, all our services, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, everyone involved in the security of the Ukrainian state, would have to do a massive and very thorough audit of Ukraine’s resource for resistance. How many reserves of uniforms, food, weapons, ammunition, medicines do we have, if tomorrow we have one hundred thousand mobilized people returning to the ranks of the armed forces, 100 thousand reservists returning to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine? How long will all this equipment last for them? Do we have enough diesel?” the deputy said.
“And there is a very big question mark, I won’t continue. Do we have enough opportunities, do we have enough money to pay all these people who will go and take risks at the state level? What's going on with the state defense order? And there it is a complete disaster. What is the situation with “Neptune” and “Verba”, which Zelensky has been dynamite for two and a half years. And these points must now be very clearly stated,” Fedina said.
